Moltres Raid Guide

Moltres

The Legendary Moltres is headlining Tier 5 Raids in Pokémon GO, and beating it requires strong Rock type attackers that take reduced damage from its attacks.

Moltres can be caught in the following CP ranges:

  • 1896 – 1980 (Level 20, no weather boost)
  • 2370 – 2475 (Level 25, Sunny or Windy weather boost)

As a Fire and Flying type Pokémon, it is double weak to Rock type attacks, so we recommend a minimum of 3 players to get the job done. Shiny Moltres is available in Pokémon GO!

Moltres takes 2x Super Effective damage from Rock type moves, due to its dual Fire and Flying type. It also takes Super Effective damage from Water and Electric type moves, although it is better to prioritize Rock type attackers over water and electric.
