Monferno Raid Guide

Monferno is a Tier-3 Raid Fire and Fighting boss with a raid boss CP of 11370. Monferno will be a relatively easy solo for the prepared trainer, and has a wide variety of counters, almost equally featuring Water, Flying, Ground and Psychic moves.

Monferno can be caught in the following CP range:

• 843 CP to 899 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
• 1054 CP to 1124 CP at Level 25, with weather boost

Monferno evolves into Infernape, which sadly as both a Fire and Fighting type doesn’t rank highly as a great pick for PvE. Neither also rank well for PvP, but could have some potential usage in a specialist cup.

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
