Reminder: Mega-Evolved Pokémon give other Pokémon special bonuses when brought to a Raid Battle. While a Mega-Evolved Pokémon is on the battlefield, all Trainers’ Pokémon receive an attack boost to all their attacks and gain an additional attack boost if their attack types match the Mega-Evolved Pokémon’s type(s).

Weather Effects

Weather Pro Attacker Pro Prinplup
Sunny/Sunny Boosts Super Effective Grass type attacks
Partly Cloudy
Cloudy
Rainy Boosts Super Effective Electric type attacks, LVL 25 Prinplup encounter Boosts Water type moves
Snow Boosts Steel and Ice type moves
Fog
Windy

Your top attackers will have Grass type moves, which are both boosted by Sunny/Sunny weather, which works great in your favour. However for your Electric attackers to be boosted you do risk boosting Prinplups potential move-pool in Rainy weather. This will however yield you with a weather boosted encounter! If you’re solo-ing this raid and looking for a bit of help, Sunny or Sunny weather is what you’re looking for. However, bear in mind this is a Tier 3 boss so if you’re out with a friend then Prinplup should not be hard to defeat in any weather!
