Niantic has shared the official release notes for the Pokémon GO 0.221 update are now available, also known as 1.187 in the Apple App Store. This update finally allows players that play on devices without gyroscopes to evolve Inkay using just Inkay candy.

In addition to fixing Inkay, this update also improves Pokédex loading time and fixes a handful of visual and gameplay issues.
