here’s the result of our data mine of the new 0.53.1 APK! It’s very exciting moment, as we see more and more Generation 2 and Shinny details added. The release is conservative, as Niantic is hiding their tricks very very well!
This data mine is a work in progress, will be updated more today. You can always go and look at the entire metadata dump for yourself. Huge file though, 6 MB of code! 🙂

New Trainer Customization: Glasses, Belt, Necklace
Niantic is continuing to add Avatar customization options, now features three newly added: Glasses, Belt and Necklace. There is no additional code to support it, just a few placeholder elements.
