Battle Setup

  • Attack Boost from Placed Pokémon (15 Pokémon)

Moves used by G-Max Gengar

  • Psychic Psychic – Single Target Attack, targets whoever last used Max Guard
  • Sludge Wave Poison  – Area Attack, hits all Pokémon in a battle

Pokémon Used by Trainers

Trainer Pokémon Lineup (Numbers Indicate Pokémon Level):

  • Trainer 1: Blastoise 40 – Blastoise 40 – Metagross 50
  • Trainer 2: Blastoise 40 – Blastoise 40 – Metagross 50
  • Trainer 3: Metagross 40 – Blastoise 40 – Metagross 50
  • Trainer 4: Metagross 40 – Charizard 40 (due to limited options) – Metagross 40

Explanation

  • Main D-Max Metagross levels: PL50-PL50-PL50-PL40
  • All Trainers have D-Max Metagross with Max Mindstorm and Max Guard at Level 3, but no Max Spirit.
  • There were no designated “healers.”

Note: Blastoise was used since it was trained before this information was available. For stability, it’s recommended to unify the team with all Metagross and re-enter until G-Max Gengar uses only Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, and Psychic.

G-Max Gengar changes its move set with each re-entry in the same Power Spot, so it’s best to repeatedly re-enter until you get the desired move set for the challenge.
