Pokémon GO Harvest Festival 2023 event is here, and Trainers are in for a treat! From October 12 to October 17, 2023, Celebrate the changing of the seasons with the Harvest Festival event in Pokémon GO! Keep an eye out for Grass-type Pokémon and more, but the highlight is undoubtedly the debut of the Smoliv family.

Smoliv debuts in Pokémon GO

You will be able to encounter Smoliv in Pokémon GO for the first time! Read more about the dashing design of Smoliv in our companion article to learn more about its design, origins, and connection to the real world olive harvesting calendar. 

• You can use 25 Smoliv Candy to evolve Smoliv into Dolliv. 
• You can use 100 Smoliv Candy to evolve Dolliv into Arboliva.
• Smoliv is a Grass and Normal-type Pokémon. Smoliv is weak to Bug, Fighting, Fire, Flying, Ice, and Poison-type moves.
• Smoliv has a Max CP of 965 in Pokémon GO, it is weather boosted by Sunny and Partly Cloudy weather, and it was originally found in the Paldea region.

Collection Challenges

Harvest Festival Collection Challenges feature Smoliv and Pumpkaboo family lines! Complete the Harvest Festival Collection Challenges to receive XP, Stardust, and Mossy Lure Modules. Remember, Mossy Lures activated during the event will attract even more Pumpkaboo!

Smoliv Collection Challenge

Collect Smoliv and evolve it into Dolliv and Arboliva until October 17, 2023, 8:00 PM local time to add to your Elite Collector medal. Smolliv needs 25 Candy to evolve into Dolliv, and 100 Candy to evolve into Arboliva.

Collect all forms of Pumpkaboo and evolve it until October 17, 2023, 8:00 PM local time to add to your Elite Collector medal. Pumpkaboo needs 0 Candy to evolve into Gourgeist if it’s traded.

Ticket of Treats: Part 2 Timed Research

You’ll be able to access event-exclusive paid Timed Research as a part of the Ticket of Treats starting October 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can purchase the Ticket of Treats in the in-game shop for US$5.00. Complete the research tasks to earn a Mossy Lure Module and encounters with Pumpkaboo!

Shiny Pokémon in this event

Shiny Smoliv has not been released as part of its debut during this event, but there are two other Shiny Pokémon that are worth shiny hunting: Shiny Pumpkaboo and Shiny Gourgeist! Both of these should be easier to acquire during Harvest festival, as they appear in much larger numbers than usual.
