Origin Forme Legendaries, Adventure Effects, and Shiny Hisuian Reveals are coming with Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh!

Hold on to your Pokédexes: Origin Form Dialga and Palkia, new Adventure Effects that change the entire gameplay, a ton of new Shiny Pokémon, White-Striped Basculin, and a mysterious Rottom puzzle are coming with GO Tour: Sinnoh!

Trainers, we’re excited to share new information regarding the up-and-coming Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh events! From Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia debuts, to the brand new Adventure Effects, and an entire overview of all habitats, raids and more coming throughout the Sinnoh Tour.

These are the key highlights that Niantic announced today:

  • Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia make their Pokémon GO debuts at Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh! Both Pokémon have special “Adventure Effects” associated with them, which allow Trainers to influence space and time throughout their day-to-day gameplay.
  • Space-time anomalies are forming! Encounter Pokémon from the Hisui region during these special time periods Enhance the way you explore the world with Adventure Effects!
  • A Rotom puzzle in LA, new costumed Pikachu, White-Striped Basculin appearing on Routes, and so much more is coming!

During Sinnoh Tour in both Los Angeles and globally, the Origin Formes of Dialga and Palkia will debut in Pokémon GO! Adventuring across time and space, these formes of Dialga and Palkia were first discovered in the Hisui region, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Not only will these two legendary dragons debut, they will bring with them a brand new phenomenon in Pokémon GO, Adventure Effects. You can learn more about these Pokémon on our database!

Adventure Effects are a brand new mechanism in Pokémon GO. Adventure Effects are temporary bonuses designed to help you in your Pokémon GO adventure, and are activated by powerful Pokémon attacks that may be used outside of battle. Adventure Effects have been reported to occur when Origin Forme Dialga uses Roar of Time, and Origin Forme Palkia uses Spacial Rend.


Origin Forme Dialga’s Roar of Time brings extended Incense, Lucky Eggs and Star Piece

Origin Forme Dialga

Trainers who defeat and encounter Origin Forme Dialga in a raid battle will have a chance to catch one that knows the Charged Attack Roar of Time (*).

Roar of Time

Roar of Time is a Dragon type Charged Attack that is available on Origin Forme Dialga encountered from tier five raids.

  • Trainer Battles: 150 Power
  • Raid Battles: 160 Power

Roar of Time Adventure Effect

Trainers will be able to activate the Adventure Effect caused by Roar of Time by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Dialga Candy. It will cause a disruption in time, and pause the timers of Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces for 6 minutes.

You can extend the timer for Roar of Time’s Adventure Effect in increments of 6 minutes by using more Stardust and Dialga Candy. The timer can be extended up to two hours each time each time you tap use, and you can tap use again to add additional time, for up to 24 hours in total.

Once Roar of Time ends the timer will resume the count down on your Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces. Roar of Time cannot be used in conjunction with any other Adventure Effects.

(*) At this time, Roar of Time will not be obtainable via any TM.

Origin Form Palkia’s Spacial Rend allows you to catch Pokémon from a distance

Origin Forme Palkia

Trainers who defeat and encounter Origin Forme Palkia in a raid battle will have a chance to catch one that knows the Charged Attack Spacial Rend (*).

Spacial Rend

Spacial Rend is a Dragon type Charged Attack that is available on Origin Forme Palkia encountered from tier five raids.

  • Trainer Battles: 95 Power
  • Raid Battles: 160 Power

Spacial Rend Adventure Effect

Trainers will be able to activate the Adventure Effect caused by Spacial Rend by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Palkia Candy. It will cause a disruption in space, and for 10 minutes you will be able to encounter wild Pokémon at an increased distance.

You can extend the timer for Spacial Rend’s Adventure Effect in increments of 10 minutes by using more Stardust and Palkia Candy. The timer can be extended up to two hours each time each time you tap use, and you can tap use again to add additional time, for up to 24 hours in total.

Once Spacial Rend ends the timer will resume the encounter radius will return to normal. Spacial Rend cannot be used in conjunction with any other Adventure Effects.

Space Time Anomalies are a mysterious new phenomenon that links our world to the ancient world of Hisui. During Space Time Anomalies Pokémon first discovered in Pokémon Legends: Arceus will appear in habitats and raids!

Keep an eye out for the following during Space Time Anomalies:

  • Different Pokémon appearing in raids, including the Origin Formes of Dialgia and Palkia
