Celebrate the Sinnoh region with this global event, the event is free, with no ticket required! There is an optional ticket which rewards an encounter with Shiny Shaymin.

When trouble arises for Team GO Rocket, will you answer the call? Trainers around the world can take part in an exclusive Special Research story during Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global.

This Special Research Story will be available to all trainers during Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global and it involves working with Team GO Rocket.

In this Special Research story with branching paths, Trainers can choose one of the Sinnoh region’s first-partner Pokémon to explore with. Plus, Trainers can look forward to reward encounters with other Pokémon first discovered in the Sinnoh region, including Spiritomb!

Diamond or Pearl?

Will you investigate the depths of space or the powers of time? Trainers will be able to pick between a Diamond or Pearl badge. The badge you pick will determine certain rewards and bonuses!

Origin Forme Dialgia, the Temporal Pokémon, and Origin Forme Palkia, the Spatial Pokémon, will make their initial debut at Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh: Los Angeles, followed by the Global Tour, during space-time anomalies.

Trainers participating in Sinnoh Tour Global will have the opportunity to encounter Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia that know their Signature Attacks. The version of the event you choose will affect your chances! If you need help making your choice, check out our article on which to pick.

  • Trainers who choose Diamond Version will encounter an Origin Forme Dialga that knows Roar of Time.
  • Trainers who choose Pearl Version will encounter an Origin Forme Palkia that knows Spacial Rend.

Roar of Time is a Dragon type Charged Attack that is available on Origin Forme Dialga encountered from tier five raids:

  • Trainer Battles: 150 Power
  • Raid Battles: 160 Power

Roar of Time can be used outside of battles, and can pause the timer on Lucky Eggs, Star Pieces, Incense and Daily Adventure Incense.

Spacial Rend is a Dragon type Charged Attack that is available on Origin Forme Palkia encountered from tier five raids.

  • Trainer Battles: 95 Power
  • Raid Battles: 160 Power

Spacial Rend can be used outside of battles to extend the radius at which Pokémon can be caught.

Party Play!

Regigigas

Grab your friends and work together using the Party Play! function, with exclusive Party Play! Challenges during the Sinnoh Tour Global from Saturday February 24, 2024, 10:00am local time, until Sunday, February 25, 2024, 6:00pm local time. Work together to earn an encounter with the Colossal Pokémon, Regigigas.

Basculin (White)

White Stripe Basculin, a Hisuian form of Basculin, will appear during Routes at Sinnoh Tour Global for the first time! White Stripe Basculin does evolve into Basculegion, but for the moment it will not be able to evolve in Pokémon GO. The shiny variant was a surprise release during LA, so will be available during the Global Tour!

Shining Surprises

Look forward to an increased chance of encountering Shiny Turtwig, Shiny Chimchar,  Shiny Piplup, Shiny Stunky, Shiny Costume Pokémon and more!

Plus, you’ll have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Hisuian Voltorb, Shiny Hisuian Qwilfish, Shiny Pachirisu, Shiny Chatot and Shiny Carnivine from Eggs!

Origin Form Dialga and Palkia

Different Pokémon will be appaearing in GO Tour Sinnoh: Global Raids during different habitat hours. During the Bustling Boardwalk and Toxic Digs habitat, you will fight primarily Raid bosses from the Sinnoh region, including Dialga and Palkia in their regular forms.

During the Ancient Grove and Geothermal Lagoon habitats, you will fight Raid Bosses typically found in the Hisui region, including Hisui starters and Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia.

Pokémon first discovered in the Sinnoh region will appear in raids during the Bustling Boardwalk and Toxic Digs habitat hours.

Trainers around the world are invited to help Team GO Rocket, pick a different version of this Special Research, and encounter different Shadow and Partner Pokémon through its course.

Choose the version and Partner Pokémon choice you made to see the tasks and rewards for that combination.

You’ll also have an increased chance to encounter your Partner Pokémon choice from Incense. eg. If you pick Piplup, you’ll encounter more Piplup from Incense.

One of the notable differences between Diamond and Pearl are the encounters on Step 3.

  • Diamond Version will have Shadow Scizor and Shadow Hounchkrow as encounters.
  • Pearl Version will have Shadow Pinsir and Shadow Mismagius as encounters.
