Trainers, Niantic has just announced that Pokémon GO’s April Community Day will feature Mareep, the rare Electric type “wool Pokémon”. The fourth installment of Pokémon GO’s Community Day event series takes place on
Similar to the March announcement, the exclusive move is not yet known and it is confirmed to only be accessible by evolving a Mareep that was caught during the event to an Ampharos. Unlike the Bulbasaur community day, this one features 1/4 egg hatch distance, making it perfect to continue the celebration of the Eggstravaganza Event!
As far as shiny forms go, we have no information to share at the moment, but given the recent pattern of releasing a shiny family per event, we would bet a Shiny Baby that shiny Mareep, Flaffy and Ampharos will make their appearance. We would be very surprised if this event did not feature a shiny Pokémon family, especially given how beautiful the shiny Mareep family is:

March Results Announced
Niantic has also shared the team based results of the previous community day, and it appears that this time team Instinct was finally able to make an appearance, and a pretty big one as well!
