Exciting news, Pokémon trainers! Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Incheon will take place from Friday, September 27th, 2024, to Sunday, September 29th, 2024, at the romantic Songdo Central Park in Incheon, and tickets are available right now!
This is the second Safari Zone event hosted in South Korea, and we couldn’t be more excited to explore Songdo Central Park and the city of Incheon with the Pokémon GO community!
In Incheon, a city where the future and the past coexist, you’ll be able to encounter Pokémon such as Ralts, Beldum, Volbeat, and Illumise. If you’re lucky, you may even encounter the following Shiny Pokémon: Unown C, Unown I, Unown N, and Skiddo!
On top of these exciting Pokémon encounters, you’ll also be able to enjoy fun photo opportunities, a community hub for interacting with Trainers from around the world, a Pokémon trading post, and a battle zone full of intense action in Songdo Central Park. Trainers who purchase a General Admission ticket will be able to experience event gameplay within Songdo Central Park from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the event day of their choice.
Please note: You will only be able to play Pokémon GO within Songdo Central Park during the Park Experience hours listed on your ticket.
Tickets will cost ₩18,000 (plus applicable taxes and fees) and can be purchased here.
Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Incheon attendees may only purchase tickets for one day of the three-day event. Tickets are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO Event Ticketing page. You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Safari Zone: Incheon event if it hasn’t sold out yet. The event experience will be available only at this location on the specified date and time. Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are available for purchase while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gameplay Ticket add-ons
We’re also offering Citywide Gameplay add-ons as an option for attendees to expand their gameplay experience. Please note: you can add these to your ticket purchase after your initial order, so if you aren’t sure, you can always come back later for any add-ons you might want!
Citywide Gameplay

Trainers who purchase a Citywide Gameplay add-on ticket with their General Admission ticket will experience event gameplay throughout the entire city of Incheon, excluding Songdo Central Park, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the event day of their choice.
Please note: you may only attend one or two additional days aside from your General Admission ticket date of this three-day event. However, additional Special Research will not be included for these extra days
- An increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon
- Up to five Special Trades daily within the city
- 1/2 Stardust Cost for trades within the city
- All Lure Modules activated during the event will last for four hours. Please note that this does not apply to Golden Lure Modules.
- Incense activated during the event will last for eight hours. Please note that this does not apply to Daily Adventure Incense.
- Take lots of snapshots—Pikachu wearing a safari hat may surprise you!
- Restrictions for Citywide Gameplay add-ons apply. Trainers will only receive the event Special Research once.
Ticket Holder bonuses
Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Incheon General Admission ticket holders will enjoy the below features and bonuses while exploring Songdo Central Park during the date and time listed on their event ticket. Please note that the Citywide Gameplay tickets apply to the entire city of Incheon except for Songdo Central Park.
While most bonuses are only active from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. local time, these specific bonuses* will be active from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
Enjoy an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon in the wild and when using Incense!
Upon completing event-exclusive Special Research, Trainers will be able to encounter Skiddo that may have a Location Background featuring Incheon. (Applies only for General Admission tickets.)
Spin PokéStops to get event-exclusive Field Research tasks that award encounters with featured Pokémon—including Pikachu wearing a safari hat and Skiddo that may have a Location Card featuring Incheon!
Make up to five Special Trades—and for half the normal Stardust cost!
All ticket holders will receive an event-exclusive medal.
Incense activated during the event will last for eight hours. Please note that this does not apply to Daily Adventure Incense.
