Pokémon World Championships Event 2022 is still going strong, but the Pokémon GO portion of the event is now over, and for the first time ever, we got our Grand Champions in both the Senior and Master Divisions!
- MEweedle (UK) is the Pokémon GO Senior Division Grand Champion
- DancingRob (Germany) is the Pokémon GO Masters Division Grand Champion
You can watch the entire Pokémon GO Worlds Finals here:
MEweedle’s team
MEweedle fought his way through the Winners Finals, and faced off against Alan716 in the Senior Division’s Grand Finals. MEweedle fought hard, and Alan was no easy opponent, but in the event MEwedle was victorious! Curiously, MEweedle has opted not to use any Shadow Pokémon and two Steel types!
You can watch the entire battle set here.
Do note that the Senior Division includes Trainers born in 2005, 2006, 2007, or 2008.
DancingRob’s team
DancingRob faced off against a Korean Trainer named Godanhada in the Masters Division Grand Final, after winning the Losers Finals battle with CrescentAngels, who previously lost to Godanhada.
Rob’s team included two Shadow Pokémon (Swampert and Venusaur), the new fan favorite Lickitung, and the usual Alolan Ninetales, Medicham and Galarian Stunfisk.
You can watch the entire battle set here.
Do note that the Masters Division includes Trainers born in 2004 or earlier.
