Pokemon GO Stadium live stream: where and when to watch

Posted in

UPDATE: Stream is canceled due to technical difficulties. We’re tweeting about the event here.

The Pokémon GO Stadium event is taking place tomorrow at 18:00 Japan Standard Time, at the Yokohama Stadium.

The event livestream is available on the official Japanese Pokémon Facebook page, and it starts two hours before the Stadium event takes place- 16:00 JST. From 16:00 to 18:00 JST, the stream will feature various Pikachu Outbreak clips and coverage, with Stadium starting at 18:00.

You can subscribe for the Pokémon GO Stadium livestream notifications here. We have no information if an English speaking stream will be available.

In all honesty, very little is know about the Pokémon GO Stadium event. We know that a special event is taking place every 15 minutes and that a Level 5+ Pokémon GO account is required, indicating that a special Raid will be available.

The official website states the following:

In order to participate in this event, you will need a smartphone that can play Pokémon GO as well as a Pokémon GO account with a Trainer Level of 5 or higher.

Stream time in various Timezones

You can check the exact time of the live stream in your local timezone using the World Time Buddy event we prepared (no registration required): World time buddy.

We’ll be covering the event in real time, so make sure to follow us on Twitter to receive the latest news. One of our readers and guide writers, the Leek Duck, is attending the event in person, so expect some interesting commentary.

And yes, we are also hoping that Ho-Oh will make a surprise appearance as a Stadium raid boss. John, if you’re reading this, make it happen.
