Regidrago is a Legendary Pokémon, formerly an Elite Raid Boss, and now a tier 5 raid boss. Regidrago is a pure Dragon type Pokémon, which leaves them vulnerable to Fairy, Ice and Dragon type moves. It can be shiny!
Regidrago can be caught in the following Combat Power ranges:
- 1614 CP – 1699 CP (no weather boost, LVL 20)
- 2017 CP – 2124 CP (Windy weather, LVL 25)
Regidrago can actually be soloed if you are tough enough! If you don’t want to take on a solo challenge, it can be defeated with 2 Trainers with perfect counters, or 4+ Trainers with suboptimal counters. It has a massive 400 stamina stat, so make sure you are using top tier counters to do as much damage as possible if you are a smaller group.
In this guide we will cover how to perform a Regidrago solo Raid for those who want a challenge!

Regidrago Solo Strategy
In general, Regidrago is not a difficult fight, and a Regidrago solo is do-able.
- Regidrago Solos are fairly easy as solo five-star raids go, but you still need to bring strong Level 40+ counters, optimally Level 50 Pokémon
- Mega Rayquaza is your main pick, followed by Black Kyurem, Crowned Sword Zacian, and Mega Garchomp
- Dragon Breath / Dragon Energy is the most difficult moveset as it will hit your Rayquaza hard.
- Windy weather is both the best and worst weather options for this raid as it boost Dragon type attacks. If you can find a Regidrago with Bite and Hyper Beam Windy is optimal for your attacks, without also boosting Regidrago.

Regidrago’s moveset now finally has access to a Dragon type Fast Move as well as the new Dragon Energy Charged Move, meaning you need to be even more wearing of using your Dragon counters. When you enter the lobby take a look at what is being recommended for you, is it fairies and ice types?
If so, it probably has a Dragon type attack, so we would recommend avoiding dragon types as counters as they will one shot them. Utilise those fairies and ice types in that case! If dragons are recommended heavily, then it probably has Hyper Beam which won’t be super effective against any of your counters, so it is safer to bring out your dragons.
Sprites
Regidrago has a fairly obvious shiny, though it isn’t necessarily the most exciting. The ‘arms’ and feet change from black to the same blue as it’s face dots. It’s a cohesive shiny that makes sense, but it could be more fun!
