There was a time when we did have someone very close to what would be considered “on the inside”, however, that collaboration has come to an end in the past few weeks.

We do make a lot of speculations, but usually we try to stay constructive and make educated guesses, rather than pure speculation.

Take, for example, our Generation III coverage that is slowly rolling out. Of course this is “speculative” content, as Generation III is months away.

However, we spend a great amount of time on each Gen 3 Pokémon in theorycrafting, existing species analysis and stat calculations to publish an educated guess.

And no, we can’t release the name of our “insider”.
