Gible and other promo cards headline the first Drop event of the Triumphant Light set and needless to say, Pokémon TCG Pocket players are eager to get ’em all. Here are all the details!
- Starts March 3, 2025
- Ends March 17, 2025
Drop events let you obtain promo cards by doing solo battles in Pokémon TCG Pocket. You can solo battle against four different Grass decks of increasing difficulty.
- Each time you win you have between a 51% and 100% chance of getting a ‘Promo Pack A Series Vol. 5′.
- It will come with one of the five promo cards shown below, and the pack can be claimed from the ‘Gifts’ menu on the home screen.
The Gible card depicts a full-art version of the existing Gible card from the Triumphant Light set. Raichu and Cherrim are alternate art reprints, while Nosepass and Staraptor are new cards with new attacks. All of them have stamps to mark them as promo cards.
Here are the drop rates of each promo:
- Gible: 12.66%
- Raichu: 15.82%
- Cherrim: 23.84%
- Nosepass: 23.84%
- Staraptor: 23.84%
There are a variety of rewards available for each difficulty level, including XP, Hourglasses, Shinedust, and more.
- Hourglasses can be used to decrease the timers on your pack openings.
- Shinedust can be used to add Flair to your Pokémon, which is a cosmetic change only.
- When you have enough copies of a specific card you can trade copies of it along with Shinedust in order to obtain a Sparkles: Gold Flair which can then be used on the remaining copies of the same card.
- Once you have unlocked Sparkles: Gold Flair you can then continue to unlock further more expensive Flair.
- Typically you obtain Shinedust by getting duplicate copies of cards.
