Pokémon TCG Pocket players! After much anticipation, the new A3 expansion has finally been announced and it’s called Celestial Guardians! The bigger surprise, however, is that the set is themed around the Alola region, with Solgaleo and Lunala as the cover Pokémon.
An official trailer has been released teasing a good portion of the new set! Solgaleo and Lunala headline this expansion and feature on the packs, along with their EX cards to boot.
Celestial Guardians will be released on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, and is the A3 set. There’s a heavy focus on the Alola region with the trailer showing Pokémon and Trainers from this region.

From the looks of it, Celestial Guardians will create ripples in the meta! Expect Dialga EX and Giratina EX to enjoy more usage.
