The B2 expansion of Pokémon TCG Pocket has finally been announced! Named Fantastical Parade, this set is headlined by Mega Gardevoir EX and joined by a bunch of other exciting cards. Rest assured, this set promises to be a memorable one!
Let’s check out all the details.
An official trailer for Fantastical Parade has been released, revealing some cards from the new set! Mega Gardevoir features on the pack, and you’ll also find Mega Mawile EX, Teal Mask Ogerpon EX, and Mimikyu EX, among other Pokémon.
The Fantastical Parade set will be released on Thursday, January 29, 2025, and is the B2 set.

Here are all the Pokémon cards revealed:
There are also a few Trainer cards shown:
- Diantha Supporter: Heal 90 damage from 1 of your
Pokémon that has 2 or more
Energy attached. If you healed any damage in this ay, discard 2
Energy from that Pokémon. - Piers Supporter: You can use this card only if you have Galarian Obstagoon in play. Discard 2 random Energy from your opponent’s Active Pokémon.
- Sightseer Supporter: Look at the top 4 cards of your deck. Put all Stage 1 Pokémon you can find there into your hand. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck.
- Peculiar Plaza Stadium: The retreat cost of each
Pokémon in play (both yours and your opponent’s) is 2 less.
The Fantastical Parade set marks the debut of Stadium cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket, a class of Trainer cards that depict a battlefield and whose effects apply to both trainers in battle. Only one Stadium card may be in play at any given time and it can be removed by another Stadium card or the action of a non-Stadium card.
Remember that Mega Evolutions function differently from other cards (including EX) in Pokémon TCG Pocket, and reflect the new rules set by the Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia sets in the physical TCG:
- Knocking out a Mega Evolution card rewards you with 3 points, granting you an instant win in TCG Pocket.
- Megas are Basic, Stage 1, and Stage 2 cards, and the latter two can be evolved directly from their respective Basic card or Stage 1 card.
To elaborate further on this:
- Mega Gardevoir can be directly evolved from Ralts.
- Mega Gyarados can be directly evolved from Magikarp.
- Mega Mawile is a Basic card, hence not requiring evolution at all.
The debut of Stadium cards and a welcome buff to Psychic types is on the cards (no pun intended), so this is bound to be an exceptional set! Pokémon TCG Pocket players will surely have a lot of fun with one.
