The first Wonder Pick event of 2025 is now available in Pokémon TCG Pocket, featuring new promo cards for Charmander and Squirtle, missions, and exciting exchange items based on Blue and Blastoise.
During this event, you will also come across missions where you can get shop tickets by wonder picking and collecting certain cards. The event is in two parts, with the promo cards being up for grabs a day earlier.
Charmander and Squirtle: Bonus and Chansey Wonder Pick

Charmander and Squirtle promo cards are available in Chansey and Bonus Wonder Picks.
Each time a player’s Wonder Pick is updated in-game, there will be a chance of a new Bonus Pick or a Chansey Pick being available. Bonus Picks are free to claim, but Chansey Picks will require 2 Wonder Stamina.
While Chansey Picks will exclusively host Bulbasaur and Magnemite promo cards, while the Bonus Picks may have these cards, event tickets, and items.
The Charmander and Squirtle promo cards from the event Wonder Picks will feature unique Chansey icons and are reprinted cards found in the Genetic Apex set.
Bonus picks are available in four different combinations:
- Genetic Apex Charmander card x1, Event Shop Ticket x2, Wonder Stamina x2
- Charmander promo card x1, Event Shop Ticket x2, Wonder Stamina x2
- Genetic Apex Squirtle card x1, Event Shop Ticket x2, Wonder Stamina x2
- Squirtle promo card x1, Event Shop Ticket x2, Wonder Stamina x2
Remember that these Wonder Picks expire, so be sure to open your Wonder Picks frequently before the event ends on 21st January.
You will find brand-new Blastoise and Blue-themed accessories in the Shop under the Limited Time / Events tab.

Blastoise Accessories Part 1
- Blue & Blastoise (Cover): 3x Event Shop Tickets, used for binders when using the Binders feature.
- Blue (Backdrop): 3x Event Shop Tickets, used to place cards when using the Display Boards feature.
- Tiny Temple (Backdrop): 3x Event Shop Tickets, used to place cards when using the Display Boards feature.
Blastoise Accessories Part 2
- Blastoise (Card Sleeve): 5x Event Shop Tickets, attached to your cards and displayed as a back cover for each card.
- Blue & Blastoise (Playmat): 10x Event Shop Tickets, it is laid out on the in-play zone during battle.
- Blastoise (Coin): 5x Event Shop Tickets, it is used during battle for coin flips.
- Blastoise (Icon): 2x Event Shop Tickets, you can select it as your icon on the profile screen.
- 50x Shinedust: 1x Event Shop Ticket, used to obtain flair for your cards if you have multiple of them.
A set of missions is also available in two parts during this event, corresponding to the Blastoise Accessories Parts 1 and 2. So, these missions will kickstart on 8 January and will run until 29 January.
