Spinda in Pokemon GO

Spoink and Grumpig Trapinch, Vibrava and Flygon

Pokemon GO Spinda (Max CP 1088) is also known as the “Spot Panda Pokémon”. This normal type Pokémon is pretty much useless, to be frank. We won’t even bother trying to find a place for Spinda in any of the meta ranks.

With max CP of 1088, ATK (116), DEF (116) and STA (120) it’s no surprise that Spinda is yet another Pokédex filler.

This Pokemon loves Partly Cloudy weather because of its normal type.

Spinda in the Pokémon GO meta

As we’ve already said, there’s no way Spinda can make a dent in the current meta.  Its CP is low, ATK and DEF are equally weak, as well as its STA. Other than being a Pokémon to catch for the Pokédex, there’s really nothing much to say about Spinda.

It has interesting swirls though.

Pokémon GO Spinda Moves

Best moveset: Sucker Punch/ Dig

None of the Spinda moves benefit from STAB.

Sucker Punch is simply allot better then Psycho Cut by itself, because of higher DPs and Energy gain.

Rock Tomb and Dig have about the same DPS but Dig is a bit better because at the end it does more damage when combined with Sucker Punch.

Spinda has access to following moves:

  • Sucker Punch dark (quick)
  • Psycho Cut psychic (quick)
  • Rock Tomb ground (charged, 2 bars)
  • Dig ground (charged, 2 bars)
  • Icy Wind ghost (charged, 3 bars)

Shiny Spinda in Pokemon GO

A normal Spinda has black spiral eyes, and black spiral pattern on its ears. It body is mostly cream colored. Its arms down to its lower part of the belly is red in color. It has four (4) red spots that can appear anywhere on its face and ears, and another one behind its head.

A shiny Spinda also has black spiral eyes, and black spiral pattern on its ears. It body is mostly light cream colored. Its arms down to its lower part of the belly is bright green in color. It has four (4) bright green spots that can appear anywhere on its face and ears, and another one behind its head.
