This month we asked to see photos of Pokémon out in nature, and we got such a variety of different and beautiful natural environments from all around the world! Next month the theme is Winter, full information at the bottom of the article.
The below AR images have not been edited in any way.
‘Encounter at the coast’ by Walker, Kanagawa, Japan.
‘Marine Vivilon encountered with Laplace at the coast under the blue sky.’
‘Pack Tactics’ by Embravery, Idaho, United States.
‘I’ve loved this Pokemon ever since I saw Kidd’s Weavile duo wreak havoc in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. An ice/dark weasel-wolf that is speedy, strong, and smart?! Sign me up!! Its Sword Pokedex entry says that a group of Weavile can easily take down a Mamoswine, which is absolutely awesome!’
‘Cherry Blossom Whisper’ by nana15AR, Hiroshima City, Japan.
”’The spring I was waiting for…”
“The desire to meet you…”
The cherry blossoms in full bloom after winter spoke to Mew.’
‘Too Early for This’ by Feresk, Pinamungahan, Cebu, Philippines.
‘I was camping out in the mountains, and woke up pretty early. Didn’t know this Rayqyaza was a morning person too. Too early for a battle, I took its picture instead.’
‘Winter coast’ by Walker, Kanagawa, Japan.
‘Even though it’s cold, Piplups are playing happily.’
‘Galarian Moltres’ rage’ by pokemoninlife, Sanyi Longteng Bridge, Miaoli County, Taiwan.
‘Longteng Bridge in Sanyi township of Miaoli County is a popular Japanese era bridge that has fallen and been destroyed by numerous earthquakes in 1935. Now the remains of the bridge serve as a memorial park for earthquakes in Taiwan. Galarian Moltres got furious when it saw tourists coming. Perhaps it just wanted to warn us not to go any further to a dangerous place.’
‘A wonderful encounter’ by nana15AR, Hiroshima City, Japan.
‘A Scenic view’ by Ayush Agrawal, Mathura, Yamuna Bank , India.
‘My Lapras enjoys the beautiful landscape of River Yamuna. Waiting and cheering for her boatman friend.’
‘Sweet Scent’ by SilverBullet00, San Diego, California, USA.
‘It’s a lovely first day of Spring!’
‘Lost Beartic’ by Emppu, Hirvensalmi, Finland.
‘Lake Suontee, Hirvensalmi, Finland, 5.1.2025, 11.00 am. Temperature is around -15 °C/5 °F. Beartic admires the rare Finnish winter sun. At 11 o’clock it has been seen around 1,5 hours, and it will set at 15 o’clock. But the sun isn’t the rare thing in the photo, Beartic is. The southest area where polar bears can be seen (from Finland’s perspective) is southest parts of Svalbard, 76 degrees north latitude. However, Hirvensalmi (place in Lake-Finland, translated to English it’s something like Elk’s Strait) is located at around 61 north latitude. Therefore, Beartic is quite lost!’
‘master of the marsh’ by Limu.
‘Always watch over you like a guardian of the forest.’
‘Grassy Terrain’ by Superdrogon1, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
‘Grass Starter having a quarrel and Snivy showing off who’s the boss of the house’
‘Glory of the Woods’ by Embravery, Indiana, United States.
‘I tend to have a hard time photographing vibrantly colored Pokemon to look like they blend into their environment, but somehow these colors matched Glory’s green nearly perfectly! Deer are well-known for their ability to blend into foliage, and I would guess Virizion could do the same.’
‘Walking’ by nana15AR, Hiroshima City, Japan.
‘The colorful flowers shine brightly, making you feel light-hearted and like dancing.’
‘LOVE’ by Walker, Kanagawa, Japan.
‘A pair of Quagsires gazing into each other’s eyes’
‘Purifying light’ by Emppu, Lahti, Finland.
‘After a long day, Ho-oh took a break enjoying last rays of the sun. It was finally free from the shackles of the Team Rocket.’
‘Nothing to see here…’ by Mark, Derbyshire, England.
‘Just a tree in the sunshine, before sunset. There’s definitely not a sudowoodo here!’
‘Rapi-nyta Safe Haven ‘ by Superdrogon1, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
‘Ponyta & Rapidash Welcomes everyone to there world.’
‘Contemplation’ by Embravery, Indiana Dunes National Park.
‘I went to Indiana Dunes National Park to see a storm brewing over Lake Michigan. It was very atmospheric and moodily beautiful. People tend not to appreciate cloudy/stormy days for their beauty, so I wanted to capture it with Golisopod’s brooding contemplation.’
‘Castform Rainy Form’ by nana15AR, Hiroshima City, Japan.
‘Raindrops that suddenly started falling. were glistening happily on the petals.’

‘Gradient’ by Embravery, Idaho, United States.
‘I took this photo on the borderline between summer and fall. I loved how you could see the gradual shift of the leaf color like you really are entering a new land. In fact, I did not modify the colors in this image in any way! The only edit I did was using AI to remove a person in the background.’
The below images are composites/full edits, made using a combination AR, existing images, and extensive editing.
