Winter is here for many parts of the world, so this month we asked to see your best photos taken during the winter season! Now, we also know that it isn’t winter timed everywhere, and that not everywhere experiences winter in the same way, so expect a few surprises along the way.

‘Earlier in the year, I participated in the Winter’s Crest AR Edit Showcase on Instagram. Our first challenge was to showcase depth in a winter environment using at least 4 Pokémon. At the time it was far too cold to go outside in the city, so with that and work obligations I used an image of Central Park in the winter I found on an image sharing website. This was my submission for that round, and quite frankly I’m proud of the work I’ve done on it.’

‘As I was walking home from a VGC local one night, I found myself by a snow covered park. One of my earlier opponents used a snow team, and the idea hit me that a Pokémon’s ability would be a perfect explanation for why it had been snowing so much recently. My opponent used an Alolan Ninetails, and while that Pokémon was too large to fit the aesthetic I was going for, Alolan Vulpix was just the right size. I added the Ability notification at the bottom of the screen to add clarification for viewers who may not know what Vulpix’s ability was.’
