Trainers, we have just received word from Niantic that they will be adjusting the Lure Module Bonuses for Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day.Zigzagoon (Galarian)
With this adjustment, we will no longer see Galarian Zigzagoon’s evolution, Galarian Linoone, spawning from Lure Modules, instead, we will be granted with a 4x Stardust bonus instead of the base 3x Stardust bonus if enough Pokémon are caught by Trainers with the help of a single Lure Module near a Lured PokéStop.
Changes from the Official Posts
Old Lure Module Bonus:
If enough Pokémon are caught by Trainers with help from a single Lure Module, wild Galarian Linoone will appear near the Lured PokéStop!
New Lure Module Bonus:
If enough Pokémon are caught by Trainers with help from a single Lure Module, the 3x Stardust bonus for catching Pokémon near the Lured PokéStop will be increased to a 4x bonus Stardust for 30 minutes.
This bonus will not stack with the base 3x Catch Stardust bonus and will instead replace it for the duration.
This change will benefit those looking to grind for Stardust. Having a Star Piece on while next to a Lured PokéStop that has this effect active, will grant the user an extra 50% bonus on top of the 4x Stardust bonus. If you plan on participating in this event, make sure to stock up on plenty of Star Pieces to not miss out on this incredible opportunity.
The last time we saw an evolution of a Community Day Pokémon from a Lure Module was for Deino Community Day. Zweilous was spawning in rapid succession from Lure Modules. While this might have been good for many trainers to acquire more Candy and XL Candy. In crowded areas, it caused an influx of Zwelious. It almost took away the hype behind catching Deino and its shiny variant. In some crowded areas, it almost felt like a Zweilous Community Day instead.
It seems as though Niantic want to avoid this happening with Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day. Plus, who can complain about the newly added 4x Stardust bonus?
Are you excited about Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day and this new group bonus?
We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
If the brand new move ‘Obstruct‘ that Obstagoon can learn and the added Stardust bonus does not entice you, then surely the amazing red and blue themed shiny family will allure you to want to participate in this magnificent event.
