it seems that a new type of incubator is on it’s way! The app is now downloading a new set of text assets (UI strings), one of which mentions a Super Incubator!

No icons or models were found (probably in the next release), but it’s quite interesting to see that Niantic has finally decided to use the “distance multiplier” feature that every Incubator has.
The “distance multiplier” field is attached to every instance of an Incubator and was unused up to this point, being set to 1x for normal Incubators.
The Super incubator is likely to be a Store item, costing more than the regular Incubator. No release date is mentioned anywhere, but we believe it’s coming soon, as there are text strings available in every localization.
