The Dia De Los Muertos event is returning to Pokémon GO, this year the event will be exclusively for trainers in Latin America! For this year’s celebrations, Team GO Rocket are on the rise!
The Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and other parts of the Americas that celebrates the lives and memories of departed friends and family. In ancient Aztec tradition, it was said that the spirits of our loved ones never left, but simply traveled to a different world and, during a special time each year, returned to our world. Since then, people who celebrate the Day of the Dead prepare for this occasion by setting the table with their ancestors’ favorite dishes, covering the streets with petals of the cempasúchil flower, and lighting candles and incense to enjoy a joyful celebration full of colors, music, flowers, and flavors.

You’ll be able to dress for the occasion with the return of Day of the Dead avatar clothing! These items will be available for purchase in the in-game store during this event and will remain available after it ends.
You’ll also be able to earn event-themed stickers (including a new Team GO Rocket-themed Confetti sticker ) by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, or purchasing them from the in-game shop.
Bundles
There will be two limited-time boxes available in the in-game store. One of these boxes features a new Day of the Dead-themed design!
Both boxes are available from November 1st at 10:00am CST until November 4th, 2024 at 11:00pm CST. You can only buy each box once.
Wicker Box: Includes a Lure Module, 15 Poké Balls, and three Confetti Stickers.
