GO Wild Area 2026: Global brings a weekend of Steel- and Dragon-type Pokémon to Trainers around the world. Dynamax Dialga and Dynamax Palkia make their Pokémon GO debuts, mighty Pokémon return, and Machamp gets a new look!
You can take part from anywhere, with an optional US$11.99 ticket available through the Pokémon GO Web Store. Ticket holders get extra bonuses, branching Special Research, and a chance to encounter mighty Latias and Latios from Incense.
Make some time and space for these Dynamax debuts! Dynamax Dialga arrives in Max Battles on Saturday, November 14, followed by Dynamax Palkia on Sunday, November 15. Both can be Shiny, if you’re lucky. If you want both, plan to take part on both days. Each Pokémon has its own day in the Max Battle schedule.
Look at the drip on Machamp! Machamp wearing a modern jacket will appear in three-star raids on Saturday and Sunday. You may encounter a Shiny one, and it will know the featured attack Karate Chop.

Hunt for mighty Pokémon in the wild and from Incense, with different wild encounters on Saturday and Sunday. Ticket holders may also encounter mighty Latias and Latios from Incense on both days. Have your GO Safari Balls ready, as these powerful Pokémon can be difficult to catch!

Mighty Pokémon are unusually powerful Pokémon that you may encounter during GO Wild Area. They are rare, more difficult to capture, and share a few traits:
- More likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP ratings.
- More likely to be XL or XXL.
- Can be Shiny, if you’re lucky!
Using an event-exclusive GO Safari Ball greatly improves your chance of catching one. Different mighty Pokémon can appear in the wild on each day, while the Incense encounters listed below are available on both days.
The following mighty Pokémon can appear in the wild on Saturday. All can be Shiny.
The following mighty Pokémon can appear in the wild on Sunday. All can be Shiny.
All Trainers have a chance to get GO Safari Balls by spinning PokéStops and Photo Discs at Gyms during event hours. These highly effective Poké Balls make catching Pokémon, especially mighty Pokémon, much easier.
Ticket holders can also collect GO Safari Balls from GO Wild Area Supply Balloons appearing every hour during event hours. Supply Balloons are available to ticket holders at both the in-person GO Wild Area events and the Global event.
- GO Safari Balls can only be used from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time on event days.
- After GO Wild Area: Global ends, they will no longer be accessible from your inventory. Keep some ready while you explore, as you never know when a mighty Pokémon might appear!
The following encounters are available on both event days using Incense. Daily Adventure Incense is excluded.
All Trainers can encounter the following mighty Pokémon from Incense on Saturday and Sunday. All can be Shiny.
Ticket holders can also encounter Unown D, I, L, and W from Incense, in addition to the mighty Pokémon available to everyone. All four Unown letters can be Shiny.
If you’re lucky, you might even encounter mighty Latias or mighty Latios! Both can appear from Incense on either event day, and both can be Shiny. They will be quick to flee, so have your GO Safari Balls ready.
The following Pokémon will hatch from 10 km Eggs during the event. All four can be Shiny!
Ticket holders have an increased chance of receiving 10 km Eggs when spinning PokéStops and Photo Discs at Gyms during event hours.
