Mighty Pokémon are unusually powerful Pokémon that you may encounter during GO Wild Area. They are rare, more difficult to capture, and share a few traits:

  • More likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP ratings.
  • More likely to be XL or XXL.
  • Can be Shiny, if you’re lucky!

Using an event-exclusive GO Safari Ball greatly improves your chance of catching one. Different mighty Pokémon can appear in the wild on each day, while the Incense encounters listed below are available on both days.
