An in-person event has been announced to celebrate EGX London, a huge video game event. It takes place from September 22nd to 25th 2022, at the ExCel London, where Pokémon Worlds recently took place.
There are a variety of panels hosted by industry guests about existing and upcoming games, how to work in gaming and more. There is also a huge amount of playable games at the convention, featuring everything from Age of Empires, to Zellige, and everything in between. Popular titles like Borderlands and Fortnite will be playable, along with puzzle games, VR games, and more! The ‘Leftfield Collection’ focuses on indy games, the ‘Retro Zone’ focusing on, on you guessed it, retro games, and there are live talks, content creator meet and greets, table top games, and opportunities like the GI Academy, which gives you the chance to talk to employers in the industry in person.

The EGX Twitter account has confirmed that the Unown rewards will be E, G and X, but it is not currently known if their shinies will be active during the event.
This is an in-person event, and as such only the immediate area in and around the ExCel London will be impacted.
