For the first time in Pokémon GO, you can raise Mega Clefable’s Mega Level all the way to Super Max. As revealed during Mega Finale, Pokémon that unlock Super Max can learn an additional Charged Attack while Mega Evolved. Read more in the official Mega Evolution update and more Mega updates posts.
Moonblast+
Mega Clefable can use an additional Charged Attack, Moonblast+:
- Trainer Battles: 80 power, with a chance to lower the opponent’s Attack by one stage.
- Raid Battles: 160 power.
The attack gets stronger as Clefable’s Mega Level rises. You must reach the third Mega Level, Max, before you can raise it to Super Max.
Mega Evolving alone won’t get you to Super Max. You’ll also need to spend Clefable Mega Energy to power it up, so join as many Mega Raids as you can.
Trainers worldwide complete Raid Battles together to unlock as many Global Challenge tiers as possible. The challenge runs from Friday, November 27, at 5:00 p.m. PST to Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PST.
The more tiers completed, the bigger the boosts Mega Clefable gets from Monday, November 30, at 12:00 p.m. PST until Sunday, December 13, at 12:00 p.m. PST:
- Mega Level 1 or higher: Moonblast+ has boosted base power (not in GO Battle League).
- Super Max Level: Mega Clefable has boosted combat power.
Super Mega Raids take teamwork and only appear at certain Gyms, often in parks and similar locations. The official Pokémon GO map shows where Super Mega Raids might appear during the event, plus raids in progress.
You can also filter the map or check nearby events to find community meetups days in advance. Many are hosted by Community Ambassadors, and you can find your local community here. If you’ve never been to a meetup, a Super Mega Raid Day is a great first one.
