Mareep incense day is a special event that takes place on Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Ampharos evolved during the event will know Dragon Pulse, a Dragon type charge move.

- Mega Ampharos will be coming to Mega Raids beginning on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
- Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time for Mareep Incense Day featuring Electric and Dragon type spawns.

‘You’ll be able to enjoy an Incense Day event featuring Electric-type Pokémon, Dragon-type Pokémon, and more! During this event, Incense will attract more Mareep, and you could even encounter a Shiny Mareep if you’re lucky! Evolve Flaaffy (the evolved form of Mareep) during the event to get an Ampharos that knows the previously Community Day–exclusive attack Dragon Pulse!’
As well as Mareep, different Pokémon will be attracted to Incense at different times. The spawns will rotate between Electric and Dragon type themes.
- From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: Electric-type Pokémon
- From 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm: Dragon-type Pokémon and Pokémon that evolve into Dragon-type Pokémon
- From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm: Electric-type Pokémon
- From 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Dragon-type Pokémon and Pokémon that evolve into Dragon-type Pokémon
Electric Type Hours
During times that feature Electric-type Pokémon, you might encounter Pikachu, Magnemite, Voltorb, Chinchou, Mareep, Plusle, and Minun. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Stunfisk!

Dragon Type Hours
During Dragon-type hours, Dragon-type Pokémon and Pokémon that evolve into Dragon-type Pokémon will be attracted to Incense, including Horsea, Dratini, Mareep, Trapinch, Vibrava, and Swablu. If you’re lucky, you could encounter a Bagon!

Mega Ampharos
Evolve Flaaffy (the evolved form of Mareep) during the event to get an Ampharos that knows the previously Community Day–exclusive attack Dragon Pulse!

While it may not be great in terms of being a Dragon type attacker, it can be a hefty Electric type for raids as a Mega.
