🏋️♂️ Utilize Gyms in Your Area
Try to have gyms nearby for the occasional gym battle tasks. A friend on a different team can be helpful when needed.
⚡ Super Effective Charged Attack Tips
For the “super effective charged attack” task, battle team leaders (found at the bottom of the GBL tab). A good match-up is a Water-type against Great League Candela, but use what works quickly for you. You can also combine this task with a gym battle for efficiency!
🎁 Save Your Gifts and Stickers
Hold onto all your gifts and stickers until event day—don’t send them early!
🎯 Stack Difficult Tasks Together
Try to group gift-related or other tricky tasks together to save on resources. Sending 3 gifts to complete 2-3 research tasks is more efficient than using 9 gifts for the same number of tasks. This is especially helpful if you’re low on gifts or friends. Same applies to buddy hearts.
👟 Have 1 km Buddies Ready
Keep a pool of 1 km buddies to quickly earn candy 🍬 (1 km or 500 m if excited, though it’s still slower than other tasks). You can pre-walk your buddy if you’re prepping in advance. Remember, you can swap buddies up to 20 times a day.
💖 Managing “Earn Hearts” Tasks
If you have many “earn 3 hearts” tasks, you can swap to another 1 km buddy. However, note that you’ll lose excitement and 500 m candy progress if you had it. Using Poffins can be helpful if you’re going all out.
📋 Power-Up List
Make a list of Pokémon you want to power up, whether for your teams or just to complete power-up tasks.
🚫 Don’t Catch Pokémon Unnecessarily
Avoid catching Pokémon unless required for a task. This way, you’ll spend less time searching for new spawns. Berry-related tasks don’t require catching Pokémon.
✨ Shiny Research Tip
