Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration Event

Costume Pikachu make their return to Pokémon GO debut during the Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration event! The Pokémon GO Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration event runs from Monday, July 13, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, July 20, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event sees the return of Rock Star Pikachu, Pop Star Pikachu, Safari Hat Pikachu, World Championships 2022 Pikachu and more!

Event Bonuses

The following bonuses are active during the Pokémon GO Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration event:

Celebration Rotations

During the event three celebrations of different costumed Pikachu will occur. They will be available in the wild and in field research tasks.

• Celebration 1: July 13th 2026, 10:00am local time until July 15th 2026, 10:00am local time
• Celebration 2: July 15th 2026, 10:00am local time until July 18th 2026, 10:00am local time
• Celebration 3: July 18th 2026, 10:00am local time until July 20th 2026, 8:00pm local time

Field Research

Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available. Complete Field Research tasks to earn encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

GO Pass

During the event a special GO Pass will be available. Reach major milestones to unlock different bonuses!

Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration on Monday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Monday, July 20, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

While progressing through the GO Pass Deluxe, you’ll be able to claim all of the rewards from both the free GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe. You can upgrade to a GO Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks.

Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass will expire on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone!
