Orthworm Debut
Orthworm, the Earthworm Pokémon, makes its Pokémon GO debut! It can be shiny from its debut, and it is a spectacular blue shiny.
Meltan
The key to catching Meltan is the Mystery Box, which can be obtained by sending a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME or from the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee games for Nintendo Switch. When you use the Mystery Box during this event, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Meltan. Shiny Meltan can be tricky to spot, it is a bit darker.
The time you have to wait before you can open the Mystery Box again will be reduced during this event.

Pokémon GO’s Steeled Resolve GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe feature exclusive rewards, including encounters with event themed Pokémon, One Super Rocket Radar, Mysterious Components and Shadow Shards.
Trainers can earn GO Points by completing Pass Tasks, unlock milestone rewards through ranking up, and access premium items by upgrading to the Deluxe version via the Pokémon GO Web Store. The full rewards list will be added here once available, so be sure to check back for updates.

You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Monday, May 4, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Additionally, from Saturday, May 2, at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, May 4, at 7:59 p.m. local time, there’s no daily limit for how many GO Points you can earn!
Note
Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass will expire on Thursday, May 7, at 10:00 a.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they expire.
