The first event for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, titled “Wonder Pick Event 1,” is now underway. As the name suggests, this event focuses on Wonder Picks, particularly featuring Meowth and Chansey.
Date and Time
- Starts 1st November, 2024 6:00am
- Ends 15th November, 2024 at 5:59am
During this event, players can collect promo cards for Meowth and Chansey. Additionally, there is a Meowth backdrop, a cover, and a “Pink Desk Frame” backdrop available to unlock.
To earn the two promo cards, you need to look out for Wonder Pick cards that have a “Chansey Pick” symbol on them. This pink symbol, located in the bottom right corner of the illustration, indicates that you’ll receive a promo card if you select that card during your Wonder Pick. The Chansey Pick will cost 2 Wonder Stamina, the bonus pick is free.
Throughout Wonder Pick Event 1, players can earn event tickets by completing missions, which can be used to unlock everything except the two promo cards. There is also a “Bonus Pick” option in the Wonder Pick area, where you have a one-in-five chance of obtaining either a Meowth or Chansey card, along with some Wonder Hourglasses or Event Shop Tickets.

To wonder pick follow these steps:
- From the home screen click on the golden ‘Wonder Pick’ towards the bottom left of the screen
- Choose which wonder pick you want. Wonder Picks cost differing amounts of ‘Wonder Stamima’ which regenerates every 12 hours. You can recover Wonder Stamina by spending ‘Wonder Hourglass’ which can be earned by completing missions.
- The app will show you the cards face up,turn them face down and then shuffle them.
- Pick any of the 5 cards to reveal your Wonder Pick!
To view your promo cards follow these steps:
- Go to the ‘My Cards’ tab by clicking the second icon along the bottom ribbon.
- Toggle the ‘Expansion order’ button just to the left of the search bar
- Scroll to the bottom to see the ‘Promo-A’ collection.
- Clicking on a promo card and strolling up will show you details about the card and how it was obtained.
