New Shadow Pokémon

Team GO Rocket Grunts—as well as their leaders Sierra, Cliff, and Arlo—are using different Shadow Pokémon. In addition, Team GO Rocket has also turned the following Pokémon into Shadow Pokémon. Defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts to save them!

Also, Pokémon rescued from Team GO Rocket Grunts may be Shiny Pokémon—if you’re lucky.

For the first time, Sandile can be shiny! Hatch it from 12km eggs starting during this event.

Mewtwo (Shadow)

Shadow Mewtwo will return to Pokémon GO in Shadow Raids. Shadow Mewtwo will appear in five-star Shadow Raids from Saturday, March 30, 2024, to Sunday, March 31, 2024, local time. Shadow Raikou will not appear during the event. Gyms not under Team GO Rocket control may still host other raids.
