This Week in Pokémon GO: 12-18 September 2022

Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 12th September, we have the end of the Psychic Spectacular event, Test Your Mettle event, Community Day and more!

Test Your Mettle Event

From September 16 – September 21, 2022, from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. local time we have the Test Your Mettle event! We don’t have information for this event just yet, but it looks likely to bring with it a new Mega Pokémon! We’re speculating that it could be Mega Aggron.

Roggenrola September 2022 Community Day

Roggenrola

On September 18, 2022, from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. local time we have September 2022 Community Day, featuring Roggenrola.

Evolve Boldore (Roggenrola's Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterwards to get a Gigalith that knows the Charge Attack Meteor Beam
1/4 Hatch Distance when eggs are placed into incubators during the event
2x Candy for catching Pokémon
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive XL Candy from catching Pokémon.
Incense activated during the event will last for three hours
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise
One additional special trade can be made during the event and up to five hours afterward for a maximum of two for the day. This bonus will last until 10:00 p.m.
Trades made during the event and up to five hours afterward will require 50% less Stardust. This bonus will last until 10:00 p.m.

Psychic Spectacular Event

From September 6 – September 12, 2022, from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. local time the Psychic Spectacular event returns!

Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, September 12, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Alakazam evolved or caught during the event will know the Charged Attack Psychic
Mega Alakazam makes its Pokémon GO debut in Five-Star raids
Shiny Elgyem makes its Pokémon GO debut in Wild encounters, Field and Timed Research
Event Exclusive Field and Timed Research will be available, featuring multiple encounters with Elgyem
Unown letters E, P and S in One-Star Raids, not shiny eligible

GO Battle League Season 12

GO Battle League: Season of Light will start on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7)
End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Tuesday 13th September 6pm till 7pm local time we have Ralts as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2x XP for catching Pokémon.

Mystery Mega Raid ???

Wednesday 14th September 6pm till 7pm local time a mystery Pokémon will be appearing in raids for raid hour.

September 2022 Research Breakthrough

Medicham

During the month of September, Medicham will be available as a Research Breakthrough reward encounter! In addition, Trainers will receive 1 Premium Raid Pass for every completed Research Breakthrough during the month.

Mega Raids

Alakazam (Mega)

From Tuesday, September 6, 2022, to Friday, September 16, 2022 Mega Alakazam will be appearing in Mega Raids.

Mystery Mega Raid ???

From Friday, September 16, 2022 to Tuesday, September 27, a mystery Mega Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids.

Five Star Raids

From September 1, 2022 to September 13, 2022, all forms of Deoxys will be appearing in 5 star raids.

Mystery Raid ???

From September 13 to September 27, 2022, two mysterious Pokémon will be in Five-Star Raids.
