Wyrdeer Raid Day Tips
Try earning 100k XP with 1 Lucky Egg and 5 Free Raid Passes
This event runs during the Winter Wonderland event, which grants 2x XP for winning Raid Battles. Wyrdeer will be appearing as a Tier 3 Raid Boss, and the base reward for completing Tier 3 Raids is 5,000 XP per Raid.
With the 2x Raid XP bonus that means 10,000 XP per Raid Battle, and 20,000 XP with a Lucky Egg activated!
Since you are getting 5x free Raid Passes, it makes absolute sense to activate a few Lucky Eggs and earn 100,000 XP during the event. You usually earn 20,000 XP per Tier 5 Raid.
A good opportunity to Trade!
Another way to maximise your time spent during the event is to utilise the Winter Wonderland’s 5 Special Trades per day increased limit, and the very tempting 50% Stardust discount for making trades during the event will.
The current Season of Timeless Travels bonuses also give you the following perks when trading:
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon
- One additional Candy when trading Pokémon
Which is a good incentive to get some trades in while you can. We recently published our ultimate guide to Pokémon GO Trading, so double check that if you forgot some of the trading mechanics.
💡 Reminder: Special Trades are trades involving Legendary, Shiny, or Pokémon not yet registered in your Pokédex.
