The Holiday season kicks off with the Winter Holiday: Part One event, with Cetoddle, the Terra Whale Pokémon.
Enjoy a weekend long Winter Wonderland adventure, and Wyrdeer makes their debut in Pokémon via a special raid day!
At the start of each month in the Season of Timeless Travels, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Egg-spedition ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research!
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 17, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Kyurem, the Boundary Pokémon, who stars in tier 5 raids this week. Regigas will takeover from Kyurem later in the week.
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Zapdos! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!

Winter Wonderland Event and Wyrdeer Raid Day

Wyrdeer makes their debut in Pokémon GO with a special raid day on 23rd December 2023! It has an increased shiny rate and the remote raid pass limit will be raised to 10.
Experience the Winter Wonderland event during the weekend of December 23rd and 24th, from 10:00 a.m. Saturday to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, with a whole host of collection challenges and more!

Timeless Travels: Eggs-pedition Access
Provision for the travels ahead! At the start of each month in the Season of Timeless Travels, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience that includes bonuses and Timed Research! Throughout Pokémon GO: Timeless Travels, you’ll be able to come across Pokémon found in the Hisui region, and stock up on items like Incubators. Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly, you never know what wares and wonders you may find. The first is the Egg-spedition ticket for December, with a free single use incubator every day!
GO Battle League Season 17
GO Battle League: Timeless Travels will start on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior
Season.

Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon.

Research
Season of Adventures Abound Research Breakthrough
- From December 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Galarian Weezing, Galarian Mr. Mime, Lapas, Furfrou, Goomy and Jangmo-o.
Season of Timeless Travels Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
