Be aware that Ninetales is not soloable (or at least hasn’t been soloed yet) and it is required to have at least 2 Trainers in order to take it down. Ninetales is a fire type, with weakness to water, ground and rock moves.

Ninetales has proven to be either extremely difficult or impossible to solo. With that in mind, be respectful of this angry fox, as Ninetales can counter its counters in a number of occasions.
The Ninetales counters list resolves around Rock and Water attackers, but all of them crumble if Ninetales has Solar Beam as charged move. In that case, resort to Dragonite, Mewtwo and dodge, dodge like there is no tomorrow.
According to a number of online simulators, Ninetales should be soloable with a team of perfect Golems and/or Mewtwos, but it’s yet to be proven.
