This guide covers all Wild Zones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, from Zone 1 to Zone 20, in the exact order you unlock them through Main Missions. Each Wild Zone features different Pokémon spawns, day/night exclusives, and Alpha encounters — some even requiring specific moves to progress.

All Wild Zones Spawns

Wild Zone 1

Wild Zone 1 contains various wild Pokemon and is unlocked during Main Mission 5 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

Wild Zone 2

Unlock Wild Zone 2 by reaching Main Mission 5. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone on the Vert Plaza of the Vert Sector. Wild Zone 2 has various wild Pokemon with Staryu only spawning during the night.

Wild Zone 3

Unlock Wild Zone 3 by reaching Main Mission 5. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone on the Rogue Plaza of the Rogue Sector. Wild Zone 3 has different wild Pokémon species, with Flabebe only spawning during the day.

Wild Zone 4

Unlock Wild Zone 4 by reaching Main Mission 6. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone in the Dormez Bien Cemetery of the Rogue Sector.Wild Zone 4 has six species of Pokemon. Spewpa spawn only during the day, while Honedge and Patrat only spawn at night.

Wild Zone 5

Unlock Wild Zone 5 by reaching Main Mission 6. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone occupying both Bleu Sectors 1 and 2 of the Bleu Sector. There are seven species of Pokemon in Wild Zone 5 that can be encountered at any time of day. To destroy the purple grimes that are blocking the way in this Zone, have a Pokemon use a Water-Type or a Psychic-Type move.

Wild Zone 6

Unlock Wild Zone 6 by reaching Main Mission 6. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone in Jaune Sector 12. There are seven types of Wild Pokemon in Wild Zone 6. Meditite is the only one that spawns specifically during the day.

Wild Zone 7

Unlock Wild Zone 7 by reaching Main Mission 10. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone on Magenta Plaza of the Magenta Sector. There are 7 Pokemon species in Wild Zone 7. Hippopotas spawn in the middle of the area at day while Shuppet spawn at night.

Wild Zone 8

Unlock Wild Zone 8 by progressing to Main Mission 10. Afterwards, you’ll be able to access this Wild Zone in Jaune Plaza. There are 6 Species of wild Pokemon in Wild Zone 8. None of these Pokemon spawn exclusively at a certain time of day or weather.

Wild Zone 9

Unlock Wild Zone 9 by progressing to Main Mission 10. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone located in Magenta Sector 5 within the Magenta Sector. There are six species of Pokemon in Wild Zone 9, all of which spawns at any time of day or weather.

Wild Zone 10

Unlock Wild Zone 10 by progressing to Main Mission 10. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone in Bleu Sector 10 within the Bleu District. There are seven Pokemon species in Wild Zone 10.

Wild Zone 11

Unlock Wild Zone 11 by progressing to Main Mission 15. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone in Jaune Sector 10. Wild Zone 11 serves as the habitat for six regular Pokemon species, all of which can spawn at any time of day.

Wild Zone 12

Unlock Wild Zone 12 by progressing to Main Mission 15. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone in Aymlis Park within the Bleu District. Wild Zone 12 hosts eight regular Pokemon species, all of which can spawn at any time of day.

Wild Zone 13

Unlock Wild Zone 13 by progressing to Main Mission 15. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone in North Boulevard within the Rogue District. There are thirteen Pokemon species in Wild Zone 13. Weepinbell and Vivillon only spawn during the day while Scyther and Phantump spawn at night.

Wild Zone 14

Unlock Wild Zone 14 by progressing to Main Mission 20. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone in the Electrical Substation within the Magenta District. Wild Zone 14 is habitat for seven regular Pokemon species. Helioptile spawn exclusively during the day.

Wild Zone 15

Unlock Wild Zone 15 by progressing to Main Mission 19. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone on North Boulevard within the Jaune District. Wild Zone 15 hosts six Pokemon species. Bug-type Pokemon spawn during the day, while Ghost-types appear at night, except for Pumpkaboo and Larvitar which can spawn at any time.

Wild Zone 16

Unlock Wild Zone 16 by progressing to Main Mission 24. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone at the Bleu Plaza. There are seven wild Pokemon in Wild Zone 16. Among them, Starmie and Florges are very rare spawns, only available during nighttime and daytime respectively.

Wild Zone 17

Unlock Wild Zone 17 by progressing to Main Mission 24. Afterwards, you’ll find this Wild Zone east of Vert Street. There are six wild Pokemon in Wild Zone 17. Two of which are available only on Day and Night.

Wild Zone 18

Wild Zone 18 contains various wild Pokemon and is unlocked during Main Mission 30 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. There are six wild Pokemon in Wild Zone 18 and all appear at any time of the day.

Wild Zone 19

Wild Zone 19 contains various wild Pokemon and is unlocked during Main Mission 30 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. There are seven wild Pokemon that spawn in Wild Zone 19. Cleffa and Clefairy are only available at night, while Drampa is only available during the day.

Wild Zone 20

Wild Zone 20 is only available after completing the main story of the game. Once you complete Main Mission 38, Wild Zone 20 will appear at the Prism Tower. There are 15 Wild Pokemon that spawn in Wild Zone 20. These include the starter Pokemon, the Kanto starters, and evolved forms of strong Pokemon.
