Black Kyurem

Black Kyurem is a Tier 5 Raid Boss in Pokémon GO. Defeating it rewards an encounter with Kyurem (in their non-fused form) and Volt Fusion Energy. This Dragon and Ice Raid Boss be caught in their unfused Kyurem form with the following CP values, with an IV floor of 10/10/10:

• 1957 CP – 2042CP (no weather boost, 100% Kyurem at Level 20)
• 2446 CP – 2553 CP (Windy or Snow weather, 100% IV Kyurem at Level 25)

Black Kyurem is weak to Dragon, Fairy, Fighting, Rock, and Steel type Pokémon, so you have a wide variety of different counters available to defeat them.

This Raid Boss can be duoed under the right circumstances by trainers with optimal counters that are fully leveled up. For most communities, we would recommend 3-5 trainers, but newer trainers or those without ideal counters will need a larger group.

How to Fuse Black Kyurem

Black Kyurem

Kyurem can fuse with Zekrom using Volt Energy to become Black Kyurem. It will require 1000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy for the fusion to take place.
