Chansey Community Day Raid Guide

Chansey

Chansey is a special Tier 4 raid at the end of Chansey Community Day, and it can be shiny from raids. With a single resistance to Fighting type moves, prepare your team wisely. Chansey has a raid boss CP of 8508 and can be caught with the following CP values:

  • 654 – 717 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
  • 817 – 896 CP at Level 25 with Partly Cloudy weather boost

Chansey is impossible to solo because of it’s high HP stat. It’ll be a close fight even with 2-3 trainers, so it is suggested to have 4-7 trainers in your party while taking down this raid boss. Many of the recent Community Day raids have been soloable, but not this one!

If you are planning to try to defeat Chansey with only two people, it is a great time to use the Party! Play power, and utilise Mega Pokémon.

Chansey Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it. The figures in our database for DPS and TDO are calculated using Level 40 Pokémon with perfect IVs.

The best raid counters according to our GO Hub battle simulator for Chansey are:
