Flygon is a Tier 3 raid boss in Pokémon Go and is a part of the Secrets of the Jungle event. This Ground/Dragon type Pokémon is extremely popular with the fandom and is useful in the lower leagues of PvP with the right moveset (that might need an Elite Charged TM).
Flygon can be caught with the following CP values:
- 1447- 1520 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
- 1809- 1901 CP at Level 25 with Sunny or Windy weather boost
With its dual Ground and Dragon typing and Tier 3, it is weak to the Ice (2x), Dragon and Fairy types. High-level trainers can solo Flygon while others would need 2-3 trainers for ease.
Flygon Raid Counters
Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
The best counters for Flygon are the following:

Note: Flygon from this event does not learn Earth Power. You will have to use an Elite Charged TM for that.
Flygon has a tricky moveset that should invite caution from your end. Mud Shot charges super fast and a Stone Edge hurts your Ice and Dragon/ counters quite bad. Earthquake hits hard but is dodgeable. All in all, Flygon is not too bulky and the 2x weakness to Ice can be easily exploited.
