Galarian Yamask Raid Guide

Posted in

Hey Trainers,

Galarian Yamask is a Ghost and Ground type T1 raid boss. Galarian Yamask evolves into Runerigus if you win 10 raids with it as your buddy.

Yamask (Galarian)

Galarian Yamask should be quite easy to beat, since it’s just a T1 raid with multiple common weaknesses. Any player can beat it with decent Pokémon. It does have a little bulk, so try not to use any moves Galarian Yamask resists.

It’s a Ghost and Ground type, so it’s weak to Dark, Grass, Water, Ice and Ghost type attacks. It’s resistant to Bug and Rock, and it has a whopping 4 heavy resistances being Normal, Fighting, Poison, and Electric.

Top Counters

Shadows won’t be listed as they are incredibly expensive to power up, but if you have any of the listed Pokémon as shadows without Frustration, you should use them instead.

I enjoy drinking coffee and going for walks if I can muster the energy. I mostly spend time shiny hunting in mainline Pokémon games. My favourite Pokémon is Falinks, and I'm still in disbelief that it was added to GO like a year or two early. Empoleon is a close second, though.
