Mega Malamar

Mega Malamar is a Dark and Psychic type Super Mega Raid boss. Best Mega Malamar raid counters include powerful Bug and Fairy types, with a range of different counters available to help you defeat it. Malamar can be caught with the following Combat Power after being defeated in Raids:

• From 1292 CP to 1347 CP, with no weather boost
• From 1616 CP to 1685 CP with Fog and Windy weather boost

Super Mega Raids require a minimum of 8 trainers to defeat them, and each trainer will need to have a Mega Pokémon in their team. This guide will tell you how to beat this brainy Mega, as well as its optimal stats, moves and CP range.

Super Mega Raid Information

During Super Mega Raids the Mega Pokémon can become enraged, and even used shields that dramatically reduce the amount of damage they take. You’ll have to work together to take down these shields, but each Trainer can only take down one shield.

• Once the Mega Pokémon boss activates a shield, a Mega Pokémon from your Raid team will be automatically sent into the battle.
• Your next attack by your Mega Pokémon will be significantly more powerful than usual, allowing you to break down the bosses shield!

Once you and your fellow Trainers have broken enough shields the Raid Boss will return to it’s normal state and you will be able to do normal damage again.
