The Tip of the Iceberg Special Research
There’s two sides to every story…
When Professor Willow gets word of strange sightings across the world, a question arises: Could Reshiram or Zekrom be tied to these occurrences? Ticket-holding Trainers in Los Angeles and New Taipei City can take part in an exclusive Special Research story, available to claim during their ticketed session at the Rose Bowl Stadium or New Taipei Metropolitan Park.
Trainers in Los Angeles and New Taipei City will also have access to the Special Research story during Pokémon GO Tour Unova: Global, which takes place March 1st and 2nd 2025.

Throughout the Los Angeles and New Taipei City, a limited number of PokéStops may give you Enigma themed Field Research. Complete these tasks for encounters with the following Pokémon, who are guaranteed to have a Special Background:

New Taipei City Park-Wide Trivia Challenge Timed Research
A park-wide trivia challenge themed Timed Research will be available to ticket-holding Trainers while at New Taipei Metropolitan Park, awarding encounters with Incarnate Forme Tornadus, Incarnate Forme Thundurus, and Incarnate Forme Landorus!
You need to work to decipher clues about Pokémon in each habitat, and spin the PokéStops that match the clues to complete the research.
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with these Timed Research opportunities must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before 5:00 p.m. GMT+8 on your ticketed event day at the venue. Trainers will only be allowed access to New Taipei Metropolitan Park to complete these Timed Researches during their ticketed event day.
