The Pokémon GO October 2026 events schedule is here! In October, featured Pokémon are Mega Sableye, Gigantamax Cinderace, Shadow Zekrom and Shadow Incarnate Forme Landorus. A variety of different Pokémon will be featured throughout the month, and there is a whole host of in-game events to look forward to!

Harvest Festival: Applin Picking

Pokémon GO’s Harvest Festival 2026: Applin Picking Event takes place from Tuesday, September 29, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, October 5, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event introduces Shiny Applin, as well as an increased chance to encounter Shiny Smoliv.
Mossy Lures will only attract apples during the event. Harvest Festival: Applin Picking also features a special GO Pass, Pokéstop showcases, event-themed Field Research, branching timed research, and more.
Harvest Festival: Taken Over

Shadow Zekrom makes its Pokémon GO debut during Harvest Festival: Taken Over, the latest Team GO Rocket Takeover event, running from Friday, October 2 at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, October 5, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can earn a Super Rocket Radar through the Harvest Festival GO Pass, track down Giovanni, and rescue Shadow Zekrom. Shiny Shroodle also makes its Pokémon GO debut during the event.
Team GO Rocket Leaders and Grunts will use updated Shadow Pokémon lineups, with Shadow Wimpod, Shadow Sandygast, and Shadow Fomantis joining the rotation. Trainers will also have an increased chance to encounter Shiny Slugma.
Gigantamax Cinderace Max Battle Day

Gigantamax Cinderace returns to Pokémon GO during a special Max Battle Day event on Saturday, October 3, 2026. For the first time, it can be shiny! Trainers can look forward to increased Max Particle limit, three special trades for the day, Gigantamax Cinderace appearing on all Power Spots and more!
World Space Week

The World Space Week event brings the brand-new costumed Pokémon, Astronaut Pikachu, via Raids and free Timed Research in a week-long adventure from Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. to Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time. This exciting global event is a tie-in with European Space Agency and The Pokémon Company collaboration that takes place at select museums in the real world.
Zorua Community Day

The October 2026 Community Day features the sneaky Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokémon! Join the event on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time to enjoy 3x XP for catching Pokémon, increased Zorua spawns, and a chance to encounter Shiny Zorua!
Evolve Zorua during the event—or up to four hours afterwards—to obtain Zoroark with the exclusive Fast Attack Sucker Punch Dark.
Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek

Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek runs from October 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to October 19, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event introduces Bramblin, the Tumbleweed Pokémon, and brings Super Max Level and the Charged Attack Discharge+ to Mega Manectric.
There’s an increased chance to encounter Shiny Electrike throughout the event, with boosted Shiny Hisuian Growlithe encounters from Incense starting October 16 at 10:00 a.m. Incense encounters change halfway through the event, while Field Research and the GO Pass: Fall Marathon offer additional rewards.
You can also complete free Timed Research by exploring up to 42 km to earn an encounter with Pikachu wearing a marathon visor.
Sandile Hatch Day

Sandile Hatch Day takes place in Pokémon GO on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Sandile will hatch more frequently from 2 km Eggs collected during the event, with boosted shiny odds, double Hatch Candy and half Egg Hatch Distance.
Orionids Meteor Shower: Minior Debut

Minior is making its Pokémon GO debut through Minior Showers, a series of events timed to coincide with real-world meteor showers. The first event runs from October 19 to 24, 2026.
During the event, you’ll find Minior in the wild in its Meteor Form and earn extra Stardust for catching it. Your best time to look will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time each day, when Minior encounters will be more frequent and shooting stars will light up the in-game sky.
Dynamax Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf Max Battle Day

Dynamax Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf debut in Pokémon GO during a special Max Battle Day event on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can look forward to increased Max Particle limit, their regional Dynamax Lake Spirit appearing on Power Spots that refresh more frequently and more!
Halloween 2026: Part One

Pokémon GO’s Halloween 2026 Part One event runs from October 27 at 10:00 a.m. to November 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time, bringing three new costume Pokémon: Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet, Zubat wearing a top hat, and Sinistea wearing a bow!

We are currently in the Twilight Trails season. Different days of the week will include a Daily Discovery experience. These will be active between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. local time unless otherwise stated.
- One Rare Candy XL for completing in-person Max Battles.
- More Power Spots than usual will be active.
- Additional Power Spots will be active on Mondays compared to the rest of the week.
- Max Battles will rotate to feature different Dynamax Pokémon.
(*) Max Battles will be available between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. local time. Power Spot availability will be limited outside of Max Mondays and Max Battle Days.
- PokéStop Showcases will be active on Tuesdays, featuring up to 20 different categories.
- Trainers can enter up to five PokéStop Showcases.
- More PokéStops may have PokéStop Showcases.
- Raid Bosses for five-star raids and Mega Raids will rotate at the start of the day each week.
- Raid Hours will continue to feature the five-star Raid Boss between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. local time.
- One Rare Candy XL for completing in-person Raid Battles.
- Spotlight Hour will return from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time!
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will increase from five to 10—for a total of 50 battles
- Up to 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.)
- Up to two Special Trades.
- Increased chance of Lucky Trade for any trade.
- Up to -10% Stardust cost for trades.
- Two guaranteed Candy XL from trades (Trainers level 31+).
(*) These bonuses only apply to in-person trades.
- More Pokémon will appear in the wild!
- More Pokémon will appear while following a Route. Incense will attract even more Pokémon on Routes.
- Reduced distance to earn Buddy Candy while exploring Routes with your Buddy Pokémon.
- Encounter Mateo up to three times each day while on a Route.
