Throwback Challenge 2020: Sinnoh is a special in-game event that celebrates Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region. The event lasts from Friday, May 22, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, May 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. local time, and it’s a part of the greater Throwback Challenge 2020 Event. Sinnoh Throwback is the final event in the Throwback Challenge 2020 series of event and it lasts for a week.

Event Bonuses

Shiny Glameow and Purugly will become available in Pokémon GO during the Sinnoh Throwback Challenge event. These Pokémon will be available after the event ends, but you have a better chance of getting them during the event:

Sinnoh Throwback Special Research is a 9 part quest line that rewards an encounter with Cresselia that knows Grass Knot at the end of the quest line.
