Alola! Welcome to Alola Event is the launch celebration event for the Season of Alola in Pokémon GO, starting on March 1st, 2022. Finally, the Alola Region is about to mark its true presence in Pokémon GO!
We will welcome more Pokémon from Alola with the Welcome to Alola Event (doesn’t Alola have a nice ring to it?) and with this, we will be graced with the arrival of a slew of Pokémon originally discovered in the Alolan region!

Date & Time
The Welcome to Alola Event will start on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time till Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

A Tropical Collection Challenge
A Collection Challenge to collect the following Pokémon first discovered in Alola will be available! Complete this exciting challenge to contribute to your Elite Collector medal and earn 7,000 XP and 15 Ultra Balls.
*Gumshoos is obtained through evolution.
If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Yungoos!

After a prolonged wait, the Alola region’s breeze is here! This region brings in some of the most exciting Pokémon from the franchise and you can bet that March is going to kick off on a bright, sunny note!
