Magikarp Jump Event Guide

Events in Magikarp Jump are special game encounters that happen after you complete a training, league match or just hang around in the aquarium. The chance of events happening is boosted by Eevee statue in your Aquarium.

There is 31 possible event, not all are known at the moment. You can look up the details of those you’ve unlocked in the Event dex.

Number Name Description Unlock via
No. 1 Old Rod Magikarp encounters a bit of fruit under water. You can decide whether or not to approach it. If not, you get Jump Power. If you do and you succeed, you get more Jump Power. If you do and you don’t succeed, you lose Magikarp Finish Fast League
No. 2 Nugget You receive Coins scaled to your level Beat Quick League
No. 3 Is It Treasure? You find a Poké Ball in the road. You can choose if Magikarp opens it or not. If no, you will receive Jump Power. If you do, there’s a chance of finding Coins, items or a Voltorb which will explode and make you lose your Magikarp Beat Quick League
No. 4 Out of Nowhere… You find a tree with berries on. You can choose if Magikarp should jump to get it or not. If no, you will receive Jump Power. If you do, you can get Jump Power if Magikarp succeeds or a Pidgeotto appears and you lose your Magikarp Beat Friend League
No. 5 Idol Riches The mayor appears with compliments. He then gives you a workout drink. Finish Heavy League
No. 6 Massage a Karp Mayor Karp will visit and give you words of encouragement. You gain Jump Power or a free Training attempt
No. 7 Everyone’s Hero A fan comes to ask for words of encouragement. You gain Jump Power or a free Training attempt Randomly occurs after league battles
No. 8 Roddy Tackle A fisherman comes and offers words of encourangement. You get Coins Beat the Quick league
No. 9 Unsinkable Magikarp A fan comes and gives encouragement. You gain Jump Power or a free Training attempt Randomly occurs after league battles
No. 10 Go, Magikarp, Go! Mr. Yoso will come up with a message from a fan. It will be accompanied by coins. Beat the Quick League
No. 11 All That Glitters A mysterious sparkling item appears in the ocean. You can choose if Magikarp investigates or not. If no, you get Jump Power. If yes, you have a chance of either getting Coins, items or Magikarp could lose some gained Jump Power from its activity. Beat the Friend League
No. 12 Jumping Lesson You get approached to enter a special Jump Course. You can decline or enter at a risk. If you decline you get Jump Power. If you succeed, you get a lot more Jump Power. If you lose, you lose some of your gained Jump Power Beat Fast League
No. 13 Mystery Drink A scientist approaches you with a new miracle drink. You can decline or test the drink. If you decline, you get Jump Power. If you accept and succeed, you get a lot more Jump Power. If you lose, you lose some of your gained Jump Power Beat Great League
No. 14 Magikarp Adrift Magikarp moved too far away from you and needs to find its way back. You gain Jump Power if you tell it to wait, or you may lose Jump Power if you tell it to search Beat the Quick League
No. 15 Snoozing with Snorlax Your Snorlax is blocking the path while sleeping. Magikarp goes to sleep on its belly and you collect full Training Points Beat Quick League

No. 16 Tag Battle A Pidgeotto attacks and Pikachu steps in to defend Magikarp. You gain Jump Power Beat Friend League

Have Pikachu as Support

No. 17 Showing off Magikarp A fan comes by and wants to see Magikarp Jump. You get a Training Beat Luxury League
No. 18 Sage Advice A veteran Magikarp shows up and gives you a huge JP boost Beat Great League, lose a lot
No. 19 Trade for Gyarados A scientist approaches you and asks to trade your Magikarp for Gyarados. You automatically decline, resulting in receiving Jump Power Beat Luxury League
No. 20 Lost Luvdisc A Luvdisc will appear and ask for your assistance. It will give you Diamonds. Beat Fast League
No. 21 Easygoing Slowpoke Magikarp met Slowpoke and they converse weirdly, seemingly understanding each other. Gives one League play. Beat Heavy League

Have Slowpoke as Support

No. 22 Watch and Learn After training, you will be approached by a character who commends you on your training. You’ll get give one free training regime Beat Fast League
No. 23 Slacker Magikarp Magikarp is feeling weak and wants to skip training. If you don’t scald it, you gain Jump Power. If you scold it, you may gain Jump Power or lose gained Jump Power Beat Quick League
No. 24 Macho Karp A scientist will request help with an experiment. If you decline, you get Jump Power. If you say yes, you have a chance of losing your Magikarp as it evolves into Gyarados Beat Great League
No. 25 Fan Mail Mayor Karp delivers a letter from a fan. It gives you an item such as League Spray Beat Fast League
No. 26 A Challenge Mayor Karp delivers a letter from your next opponent. It gives you additional Jump Power Beat Great League
No. 27 Many Wise Words The mayor appears and gives various anecdotes about Magikarp. Beat Great League
No. 28 Is It Feebas? Feebas will sometimes swim into the aquarium. Tap it for Jump Power Randomly occurs when viewing the home screen
No. 29 Food Fever Manaphy will sometimes swim into the aquarium. Tap it to start a festa where lots of Pokémon will swim in and leave you food. Randomly occurs when viewing the home screen
No. 30 Be gone! Ghost girl appears and says “Be gone… intruders!” Leaving gives 1 Extra Level Cap,  Stay does nothing Click TV until static, then train
No. 31 Hop, Skip & Whump! Keep jumping in the aquarium and eventually a Pidgeotto will swoop in and take your Magikarp Unknown(???)
No. 32 Dratini event  When fishing a new Magikarp, you accidentally fish up a Dratini Unknown(???)
No. 33 You can do it!  You get 3 LP restores Lose 3 times in a row
No. 34 Adios, Gyarados! Tap your Magikarp repeatedly to break the Everstone. On the next level up, it will evolve into Gyarados. You lose the Magikarp Unknown(???)
