Pokémon GO and Japanese airline ANA (All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd) are teaming up for a new series of airport events celebrating the launch of the Green Pokémon Jet, part of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
Selected airports across Japan will feature special ANA-themed PokéStops and Gyms, Location Background Bulbasaur raids, and exclusive Timed Research. The collaboration begins on September 18, 2026, and continues through August 2027.
Bulbasaur will appear in Raid Battles at participating airport Gyms throughout the collaboration.
Bulbasaur caught from these raids will have a special Green Pokémon Jet–themed Location Background. Shiny Bulbasaur will also be available. Each participating Gym will host one eligible Bulbasaur Raid Battle per day. Following the event’s launch on September 18, raids will use the regular Raid Battle schedule.
Trainers visiting a participating airport can receive exclusive Timed Research featuring encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
- The Timed Research can be claimed once during Phase 2 at any participating airport.
- The research expires three days after it is received.
- Trainers who claimed the Phase 1 Timed Research can claim the Phase 2 research.
- Visiting additional Phase 2 airports will not provide additional copies of the research.
Make sure to complete the research promptly. Its three-day expiry period begins when it is received, rather than at the end of the wider Green Pokémon Jet collaboration.
The following airports will participate during Phase 2:
| Region | Participating airports |
|---|---|
| Shikoku |
|
| Kyushu |
|
| Okinawa |
|
The Timed Research is limited to one claim across all of the airports included in Phase 2. You do not need to visit multiple airports to receive different research.
A similar event is planned to celebrate the launch of the Blue Pokémon Jet. Phase 3 will introduce a new selection of participating airports, allowing Trainers to receive another round of Timed Research even if they completed the Phase 1 or Phase 2 research.
The Phase 3 airports, dates, featured Pokémon, and other event details will be announced later.
